A world built around choice, progression and consequence.
Jobless is an original Unreal Engine game being created by Vortex Prime. Its design combines an explorable open world with story-led missions, character progression and systems that let players approach objectives in different ways. Features, content and release timing may change during development.
Open exploration

Player growth and unlockable opportunities intended to make each session contribute to the wider experience.
Online features
Invite-based multiplayer, with Discord kept optional.
Planned multiplayer uses Epic Online Services for account sign-in, friends, invitations, lobbies and game sessions. Optional Discord connection may provide social presence and voice features. A Discord account is not required to play, and Discord availability does not control access to EOS multiplayer.
Game authority
Epic Online Services is planned to manage player identity, invitations, lobby membership and multiplayer sessions.
Play with friends
Invite-based sessions are intended to make it straightforward to gather friends and enter the same game session.
Optional social layer
Players may choose to connect Discord for supported social or voice features without making it a multiplayer requirement.
Platform notice: PC (Windows) is the current development target. Additional platforms are being evaluated. Vortex Prime does not claim console certification, approval or a confirmed console release.
